Kennedy Space Center, Fla. — At the gantry on Complex 17-A, Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, the fairing for the Microwave Anisotropy Probe (MAP) spacecraft arrives in the White Room. There it will wait for the arrival of the spacecraft. MAP is scheduled for launch on June 30 aboard a Boeing Delta II rocket. The launch will place MAP into a lunar-assisted trajectory to the Sun-Earth for a 27-month mission.
