KENNEDY SPACE CENTER, Fla. -- Workers at Launch Complex 17-A, Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, oversee the lifting of the second stage of a Delta II rocket, which is to be mated with the first stage. The Delta II will propel the Genesis spacecraft on a journey to capture samples of the ions and elements in the solar wind and return them to Earth for scientists to use to determine the exact composition of the Sun and the solar system’s origin.
