KENNEDY SPACE CENTER, Fla. -- STS-104 Pilot Charles O. Hobaugh is ready to climb out of the T-38 jet aircraft after arriving at the KSC Shuttle Landing Facility. He and other crew members are at KSC to take part in Terminal Countdown Demonstration Test (TCDT) Activities. The TCDT provides the crew with emergency egress training, opportunities to inspect their mission payloads in Space Shuttle Atlantis’s payload bay, and simulated countdown exercises.
