KENNEDY SPACE CENTER, Fla. -- STS-105 Pilot Rick Sturckow waits for his helmet during suit check before heading to Launch Pad 39A. The STS-105 and Expedition Three crews are at Kennedy Space Center participating in a Terminal Countdown Demonstration Test, a dress rehearsal for launch. The activities include emergency egress training, a simulated launch countdown and familiarization with the payload.
