Kennedy Space Center, Fla. — Expedition 5 crew members test the slidewire basket on Launch Pad 39A as part of emergency egress training at the pad. From left are Sergei Treschev, Peggy Whitson and Commander Valeri Korzun. The training is part of Terminal Countdown Demonstration Test activities for Expedition 5 and the STS-111 crew. The TCDT also includes a simulated launch countdown.
