Kennedy Space Center, Fla. — Workers in checkout hangar 1610 on North Vandenberg Air Force Base complete final processing on the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA-M) spacecraft before transportation to Launch Complex 4W. NOAA-M is another in a series of polar-orbiting Earth environmental observation satellites that provide global data to NOAA's short- and long-range weather forecasting systems.
