Kennedy Space Center, Fla. — During emergency egress training from the launch pad, the STS-112 crew look at the slidewire basket. Seen here are, left to right, Commander Jeffrey Ashby, Pilot Pamela Melroy and Mission Specialists Sandra Magnus and Fyodor Yurchikhin (with the Russian Space Agency). Not seen are Mission Specialists Piers Sellers and David Wolf. The training is part of Terminal Countdown Demonstration Test activities, which include a simulated launch countdown.
