Kennedy Space Center, Fla. — Sonar mapping equipment lies on the deck of the Liberty Star, one of NASA's solid rocket booster retrieval ships. The equipment will be attached to the ship's hull for an eight-day expedition surveying deep-water coral reefs on the Oculina Banks off eastern Florida.
