Kennedy Space Center, Fla. — During emergency egress training, part of Terminal Countdown Demonstration Test activities at the pad, STS-107 Pilot William "Willie" McCool and Commander Rick Husband share a slidewire basket. The TCDT also includes a simulated launch countdown. STS-107 is a mission devoted to research and will include more than 80 experiments that will study Earth and space science, advanced technology development, and astronaut health and safety. Launch is planned for Jan.
