About this work

In the Space Station Processing Facility (SSPF), Jim Pope (background), Logistics Flight 1 (LF1) mission manager, International Space Station and Payload Processing, discusses the Multi-Purpose Logistics Modules (MPLMs) with members of the media. MPLMs are pressurized modules that serve as the International Space Station's "moving vans," carrying laboratory racks filled with equipment, experiments and supplies to and from the Station aboard the Space Shuttle.
