Kennedy Space Center, Fla. — External tank #120 approaches the barge Pegasus, docked at the Turn Basin on NASA’s Kennedy Space Center. When the tank is loaded onto the barge, it will be towed to NASA’s Michoud Assembly Facility in Louisiana for additional modifications. This tank is the first of the newly designed tanks that were delivered to Kennedy. Previously, the tank was stacked with Discovery and, more recently, Atlantis.
