Kennedy Space Center, Fla. — External tank #120, still resting on its transporter, is secured inside the barge Pegasus, docked at the Turn Basin on NASA’s Kennedy Space Center. The tank and barge will be towed to NASA’s Michoud Assembly Facility in Louisiana for additional modifications. This tank is the first of the newly designed tanks that were delivered to Kennedy. Previously, the tank was stacked with Discovery and, more recently, Atlantis.
