Kennedy Space Center, Fla. — Inside NASA Kennedy Space Center’s Orbiter Processing Facility Bay 1, workers secure the overhead crane to the sling placed round the forward reaction control system that will be installed on Atlantis. When ready, the shuttle equipment will be lifted for installation. The forward reaction control system is located in the forward fuselage nose area.
