Kennedy Space Center, Fla. — At Astrotech Space Operations payload processing facility in Titusville, Fla., the first half of the fairing (right) is moved away from the GOES-N spacecraft after being detached. The spacecraft and second half of the fairing are seen behind it. Workers are using the stand to detach the fairing from around the spacecraft. Workers will use the stand to begin detaching the fairing from around the spacecraft.
