Kennedy Space Center, Fla. — To honor the 25th anniversary of the first shuttle launch on April 12, 1981, STS-1 Commander John Young (seated, left) and Pilot Bob Crippen (right) were invited to share their experiences with employees during a special presentation at Kennedy. Kennedy's Deputy Director Bill Parsons (far left) introduced the two men. Here, Young relates his feelings about making that historic flight.
