Kennedy Space Center, Fla. — In the Orbiter Processing Facility, STS-115 crew members examine the wheel well on the orbiter Atlantis, the designated launch vehicle for their mission. At center is Mission Specialist Joseph Tanner; at right is Mission Specialist Heidemarie Stefanyshyn-Piper. The crew is at the center for Crew Equipment Interface Test activities, which involves equipment familiarization, a routine part of astronaut training and launch preparations.
