Kennedy Space Center, Fla. — Excited about her first space flight, STS-121 Mission Specialist Lisa Nowak completes a fitting on her launch suit in the Operations and Checkout Building. The crew is making final preparations for the launch on July 1 to the International Space Station. On the 12-day mission, the crew will test new equipment and procedures to improve shuttle safety, as well as deliver supplies and make repairs to the station.
