Kennedy Space Center, Fla. — One of the covered STEREO observatories is moved out of the clean room environment at Astrotech Space Operations in Titusville, Fla. It is being transferred to the Hazardous Processing Facility for fueling. STEREO, which stands for Solar Terrestrial Relations Observatory, consists of two spacecraft whose mission is to take measurements of the sun and solar wind in 3-D, for the first time.
