Kennedy Space Center, Fla. — At Astrotech Space Operations in Titusville, Fla., the STEREO spacecraft is being moved out of the high bay. A truck will transport the spacecraft to Launch Pad 17-B on Cape Canaveral Air Force Station where it will be lifted into the mobile service tower. STEREO stands for Solar Terrestrial Relations Observatory and comprises two spacecraft. The STEREO mission is the first to take measurements of the sun and solar wind in 3-dimension.
