Kennedy Space Center, Fla. — The orbiter Discovery rolls out of the Orbiter Processing Facility bay 3 for the short move to the Vehicle Assembly Building. First motion was at 9:23 p.m. Oct. 31. In the VAB the orbiter will be mated to its large external tank and twin solid rocket boosters already stacked on the mobile launcher platform.
