Kennedy Space Center, Fla. — The orbiter Discovery rolls into the transfer aisle of the Vehicle Assembly Building after leaving bay 3 of the Orbiter Processing Facility. First motion was at 9:23 p.m. Oct. 31. In the VAB the orbiter will be mated to its large external tank and twin solid rocket boosters already stacked on the mobile launcher platform.
