Kennedy Space Center, Fla. — Lifted by the overhead crane, the container with the Japanese Experiment Module (JEM) remote manipulator system inside is carried across the Space Station Processing Facility to another location. The Japanese Aerospace Exploration Agency developed the laboratory known as "Kibo" (Hope) and includes an exposed facility (platform) for space environment experiments, the RMS and two logistics modules.
