About this work
Kennedy Space Center, Fla. — The Pegasus barge is moved closer to the dock in the turn basin of the Launch Complex 39 Area. The barge's cargo is the external tank prepared for mission STS-118 by the Michoud Assembly Facility near New Orleans. After docking, the tank will eventually be offloaded and moved to the Vehicle Assembly Building, which is seen at left.
