Kennedy Space Center, Fla. — In NASA Kennedy Space Center's Vehicle Assembly Building, one technician adjusts the sander while another observes as they work on repairing the hail damage to Atlantis' nose cone. In late February, Atlantis' external tank received hail damage during a severe thunderstorm that passed through the Kennedy Space Center Launch Complex 39 area.
