Kennedy Space Center, Fla. — The locomotive and rail cars carrying solid rocket booster motor segments and two aft exit cone segments roll past the Vehicle Assembly Building to the Rotation, Processing and Surge Facility (RPSF) in Kennedy Space Center's Launch Complex 39 Area. The RPSF is used for solid rocket motor receiving, rotation and inspection, and supports aft booster buildup.
