About this work
Kennedy Space Center, Fla. — Inside the Vehicle Assembly Building, the external tank for Endeavour is being lowered toward the mobile launcher platform for mating with the solid rocket boosters. Endeavour is currently targeted for rollover to the VAB July 5. On the lower end of the tank is seen the bipod fittings that connect the external tank to the orbiter through the shuttle's two forward attachment struts.
