KENNEDY SPACE CENTER, Fla. -- STS-118 Mission Specialist Barbara R. Morgan practices driving an M-113 armored personnel carrier as part of emergency exit training. Seen in the back, at left, are Commander Scott Kelly and Mission Specialists Tracy Caldwell and Alvin Drew. Morgan joined NASA's Teacher in Space program in 1985 and was selected as an astronaut in 1998. She and other crew members are at Kennedy for the Terminal Countdown Demonstration Test (TCDT), a dress rehearsal for launch.
