Kennedy Space Center, Fla. — Looking into the open payload bay doors of Space Shuttle Endeavour, the S5 truss takes the spotlight. Other cargo elements are the SPACEHAB module and the external stowage platform 3. At lower right is the control moment gyro. The payload bay doors were opened to allow for payload closeouts, including camera tests on the shuttle robotic arm and the extension, known as the orbiter boom sensor system. Endeavour is scheduled to launch Aug.
