Kennedy Space Center, Fla. — On Launch Pad 39A, workers check the closing of Endeavour's payload bay doors. The payload bay doors were opened to allow for payload closeouts, including camera tests on the shuttle robotic arm and the extension, known as the orbiter boom sensor system. Endeavour is scheduled to launch Aug. 7 on mission STS-118, the 22nd flight to the International Space Station.
