Kennedy Space Center, Fla. — After donning his launch and entry suit, Paolo Nespoli signals he's ready to head to Launch Pad 39A at NASA's Kennedy Space Center for launch aboard space shuttle Discovery to the International Space Station. Nespoli, who represents the European Space Agency, is making his first shuttle flight. Discovery is scheduled for liftoff at 11:38 a.m. EDT. The mission will be the 23rd assembly flight to the space station and the 34th flight for Discovery.
