Kennedy Space Center, Fla. — In the Vehicle Assembly Building at NASA's Kennedy Space Center, technicians look over the equipment that will lift the external tank out of the checkout cell. The tank will be lifted into high bay 1 for mating with the solid rocket boosters, or SRBs, already installed on the mobile launcher platform.
