CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. -- In the Vehicle Assembly Building at NASA's Kennedy Space Center, the external tank for space shuttle Discovery is being lowered into high bay 3. The tank will be mated to the solid rocket boosters waiting below on the mobile launcher platform. Discovery is targeted to launch May 31 on the STS-124 mission to the International Space Station.
