About this work

CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. – This photo shows the leading edge of the wing on space shuttle Endeavour with an reinforced carbon-carbon panel and one insulator assembly removed. The silver assembly is the insulator. The panel is being replaced. Endeavour is the scheduled launch vehicle for the STS-126 mission and will deliver a multi-purpose logistics module to the International Space Station. Launch is targeted for Nov. 10.
