CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. - Suspended over the transfer aisle of the Vehicle Assembly Building at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center, space shuttle Endeavour is slowly lifted into the upper levels for transfer into high bay 1 for mating with its external fuel tank and solid rocket boosters. After additional preparations are made, the shuttle will be rolled out to Launch Pad 39B.
