CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. - At NASA’s Kennedy Space Center, a technician (lower left) monitors the progress of space shuttle Endeavour as it is lowered into high bay 1 of the Vehicle Assembly Building for mating with its external fuel tank and solid rocket boosters, waiting below. After additional preparations are made, the shuttle will be rolled out to Launch Pad 39B.
