CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. - The aerial view of Launch Pad 39B at NASA's Kennedy Space Center shows the Atlantic Ocean at top, the Banana River closer to the pad, and space shuttle Endeavour after its rollout from the Vehicle Assembly Building. At left of the shuttle is the open rotating service structure and the fixed service structure with the 80-foot lightning mast on top. Behind them are the tower that holds 300,000 gallons of water used for sound suppression on the pad during liftoff.
