About this work

CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. – After inspection, the two spent solid rocket boosters from space shuttle Endeavour, which launched Nov. 14 on the STS-126 mission, leave Hangar AF at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida. The SRBs will be rinsed one more time and then moved inside the hangar, where they remain for the rest of the disassembly operations. The space shuttle’s solid rocket booster casings and associated flight hardware are recovered at sea after being jettisoned.
