About this work

CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. -- In the Space Station Processing Facility at NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida, workers are lifting the Common Berthing Mechanism, or CBM. The hardware will be lifted onto the Cupola (background left), the seven-window module to be used as a control room for robotics on the International Space Station. Cupola is the payload on the STS-130 mission, targeted for launch in December 2009.
