CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. – In high bay 4 of the Vehicle Assembly Building at NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida, a large overhead crane lowers the Ares I-X service module toward the service adapter. Other Ares I-X segments are located around the bay, including the simulator crew module in the foreground (with the blue "windows"). Ares I-X is the test flight for the Ares I.
