CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. – Engineers at Astrotech Space Operations in Titusville, Fla., begin work to lower the high-gain antenna on the Solar Dynamics Observatory. Lowering the antenna will provide access to the battery compartment for installation of the flight battery. SDO is the first space weather research network mission in NASA's Living With a Star Program.
