CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. – STS-128 Pilot Kevin Ford sits in the Shuttle Training Aircraft cockpit at NASA Kennedy Space Center's Shuttle Landing Facility. Ford and Commander Rick Sturckow are ready to practice shuttle landings as preparation for space shuttle Discovery's launch Aug. 25 on the STS-128 mission. The 13-day mission will deliver a new crew member and 33,000 pounds of equipment to the International Space Station.
