CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. – At NASA Kennedy Space Center's Shuttle Landing Facility, a Shuttle Training Aircraft is directed for takeoff. STS-128 Commander Rick Sturckow and Pilot Kevin Ford are practicing shuttle landings as preparation for space shuttle Discovery's launch Aug. 25 on the STS-128 mission. The 13-day mission will deliver a new crew member and 33,000 pounds of equipment to the International Space Station.
