CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. – Deputy director of Center Operations at NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida Nancy Bray provides some history of the Launch Control Center's Firing Room 1 during a ceremony turning over the facility from the Space Shuttle Program to the Constellation Program at Kennedy. The room has undergone demolition and construction and been outfitted with consoles for the upcoming Ares I-X rocket flight test targeted for launch on Oct. 27.
