CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. – Standing tall, the Ares I-X rocket rides atop the crawler-transporter as it moves beyond the Vehicle Assembly Building at NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida. Its slow trek to Launch Pad 39B, known as "rollout," began at 1:39 a.m. EDT. The transfer of the pad from the Space Shuttle Program to the Constellation Program took place May 31.
