CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. – At sunset at Launch Pad 39B at NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida, the rotating service structure, or RSS, has been retracted from the 327-foot-tall Ares I-X rocket to allow a full test of the rocket to be conducted. The transfer of the pad from the Space Shuttle Program to the Constellation Program took place May 31.
