CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. – At the Shuttle Landing Facility at NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida, workers set up a ramp to assist with the offloading of NASA's GOES-P meteorological satellite from the cargo bay of a U.S. Air Force C-17 aircraft. GOES-P, the latest Geostationary Operational Environmental Satellite, was developed by NASA for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, or NOAA.
