CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. – In the Vehicle Assembly Building at NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida, a banner affixed to the crawler-transporter under the space shuttle stack proclaims "We're behind you, Endeavour!" as its move from High Bay 1 to Launch Pad 39A begins. First motion was at 4:13 a.m. EST Jan. 6. The 3.4-mile trip, known as rollout, takes about six hours. Rollout is a significant milestone in launch processing activities.
