CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. -- Freedom Star, one of NASA's solid rocket booster retrieval ships, waits for crew members near the left spent booster bobbing in the Atlantic Ocean to attach a hose between it and the vessel that will facilitate debris and water clearing and the pumping in of air so the booster can float horizontally on the water's surface for towing back to Port Canaveral in Florida.
