Cape Canaveral, Fla. – NASA Deputy Administrator Lori Garver, left, listens as Ben Thoma, the MSL Assembly, Test and Launch Operations mechanical lead, discusses the NASA's Mars Science Laboratory (MSL) rover known as Curiosity at the Payload Hazardous Servicing Facility at NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida. Waleed Abalati, right, also took part in the tour. The backshell carries the parachute and several components used during later stages of entry, descent and landing.
