CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. -- Technicians use a Hyster forklift to transport Engine #1, the final engine removed from space shuttle Atlantis, to the Engine Shop for possible future use. The engine was removed from Atlantis in Orbiter Processing Facility-2 at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida. Each of the three space shuttle main engines is 14 feet long and weighs 7,800 pounds.
